Negative Marking Calculator

JKSSB standard scheme (−¼): You need to be correct at least 80% of the time on attempted questions for negative marking to not hurt you. If your accuracy on uncertain questions is below 80%, skip them.

Break-even formula: For a −¼ scheme, you break even when 1 correct = 4 wrong (i.e., 1 mark gained = 4 × ¼ lost). So if you have a 1-in-4 chance of guessing correctly, attempting is neutral. Better than 1-in-4 → attempt. Worse → skip.
