1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ignite JK ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Use of the Platform
Ignite JK is intended for personal, non-commercial use by individuals preparing for J&K government competitive examinations. You agree not to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform without written permission. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at support@ignitejk.in.
4. Free and Pro Membership Tiers
Ignite JK offers a Free tier and a Pro (paid) tier. The Free tier includes: up to 10 practice questions per day, 1 mock test per exam, and 5 AI Assistant queries per day (reset at midnight IST). The Pro tier (₹99/month or ₹599/year) includes: unlimited practice questions, unlimited mock tests across all exams, unlimited AI Assistant queries, and access to all exam categories including Finance Account Assistant, JKPSI, Junior Assistant, Naib Tehsildar, and Patwari. Features and limits are subject to change with reasonable notice.
5. Payments and Billing
All payments are processed securely by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited). By subscribing to a Pro plan, you authorise Razorpay to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly at ₹99 or yearly at ₹599). Your payment details are entered directly on Razorpay's secure interface and are never stored on Ignite JK's servers. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support@ignitejk.in. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or in cases of demonstrable billing error. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 7 days of the charge at support@ignitejk.in and we will investigate promptly.
7. Exam Dates and Calendar Disclaimer
Exam dates, schedules, and notifications displayed on the Platform (including the Exam Calendar) are sourced from official JKSSB notifications and are marked as tentative where applicable. Ignite JK does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this information. Exam schedules are subject to change by the respective recruitment boards without notice. Always verify critical dates and notifications directly with the official JKSSB portal (jkssb.nic.in) before making any decisions.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including questions, explanations, mock tests, study materials, and software — is owned by or licensed to Ignite JK and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission. Questions sourced from official previous-year papers remain the property of the respective recruitment boards.
9. Content Accuracy
We strive to ensure all exam content is accurate and up to date. However, exam patterns, syllabi, and cutoffs change frequently. We do not guarantee that all content reflects the latest exam requirements. Always verify critical information with official JKSSB notifications.
10. Limitation of Liability
Ignite JK is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, missed exam opportunities, or reliance on inaccurate exam dates. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your membership in the preceding 12 months.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Platform (including sharing account credentials or attempting to circumvent access controls). You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@ignitejk.in.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jammu & Kashmir, India.
