This data is used to personalise your preparation experience and improve the platform.
2. Payment Information
All payments on Ignite JK are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited). When you subscribe to a Pro plan, your payment details (card number, UPI ID, bank account) are entered directly on Razorpay's secure payment interface and are never transmitted to or stored on Ignite JK's servers. 3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve our services; personalise your study experience and recommendations; send you important updates about your account, exam notifications, and platform features; analyse usage patterns to improve content quality; and communicate with you about your account or our services. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share information only with: (a) Razorpay, for payment processing; (b) service providers who assist in operating the platform, under confidentiality obligations; and (c) law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by applicable law. We may share aggregated, anonymised data (e.g., average scores on a topic) for research or improvement purposes.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse platform usage. A cookie consent banner is shown on your first visit. If you decline non-essential cookies, we will only set cookies strictly necessary for the platform to function (e.g., session authentication). You can also control cookie settings through your browser at any time. Disabling all cookies may affect functionality such as staying logged in.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records related to payments). Anonymised, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for platform improvement purposes.
